Dry Screened Building Sand / Soft Sand
For the production of mortar for bricklaying and block work. Supplied from various sources so care should be taken in matching existing colours. Consists fine rounded particles and clay content of 10% or higher. Meets BS EN 13139.
Washed Building Sand
Washed and usually subject to variation in colour, dependent on source. We recommend ordering all sand volumes required to complete brickwork projects at the start of the project to minimise colour variation.
Plastering Sand
For plastering walls and ceilings requiring a smooth finish. A finer grade than sharp sand and washed to remove stones.
