We charge on a per tonne or on a load basis, delivering on time and within budget. As a large volume supplier we are able to deliver 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at very competitive prices.

Type 1: Primary Limestone

Type 1: EcoBlend™
A combination of primary and recycled aggregate developed by The Day Group Ltd, producing a material with the advantages of both.
Type 1: Recycled Black and White
Crushed concrete and crushed asphalt combined.
Type 3 Limestone
For sports pitches, courts, equestrian arenas and driveways where drain blockage may be an issue and Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) legislation must be met. Also for hard standings, roads, paths and patios. 40mm unbound mixture as per the Specification for Highway Works, Clause 803. Open graded with less fines improving drainage compared to Type 1.
Limestone Scalpings
Lower cost alternative to Type 1 with a higher proportion of fines and therefore less load bearing capability. Fill or sub-base material for driveways, car parks, paths and backfilling. Grading for this material is 40mm to dust with some clay, classed as non-frost susceptible.
20/40 Limestone
Free draining sub-base for equestrian riding arenas, roads, paths and drainage ditches. 20mm - 40mm crushed limestone with low fines content that forms a hard wearing and well drained surface when compacted.
40/75 Limestone
Free draining sub-base for equestrian riding arenas, roads, paths and drainage ditches. 40mm - 75mm crushed limestone with low fines content that forms a hard wearing and well drained surface when compacted.
Type 2: Recycled Aggregate
Used as a layer under Type 1. An unbound sub-base material with more fines and a wider grading envelope than Type 1.
6F4 Recycled (formerly 6F1 recycled)
Finer Capping Layer used in the same applications as 6F5 but with a finer grading. Generally 50mm to dust and evenly graded.
6F5 Recycled (formerly 6F2 recycled)
Used for capping sub formations prior to laying Type 1 or Type 2 sub-base. Well graded material ranging from 125mm to dust.
Type 3 Recycled (formerly Type1x recycled)

6N and 6P Recycled
Selected granular fills for use in embankments and as backfill to concrete structures. 100% passing a 75mm sieve with no more than 15% passing 63 microns.
Road Planings
Used for hard standing and ideal as a finished surface for building sub-bases and farm tracks. Waste product of road resurfacing. Not suitable for drainage trenches.
Crushed Asphalt
Used as a hard core for temporary roadways and as a sub-base. A crushed recycled material with good cohesive qualities. Supplied as a 0-50mm and often referred to as a Type 4.
